Friday, August 8th 

Welcome to Murphys!
Come join us for a kickoff to the wedding weekend.

Following our rehearsal dinner, everyone is welcome to join us at Murphy’s Historic Hotel for a welcome party! Some small bites will be provided thanks to Tim & Lauri.

Location: Lower Patio, The Murphy’s Historic Hotel

Time: 7pm — 10pm

Attire: Causal & Comfy. It can get cooler at night.


Saturday, August 9th 

Both our Ceremony and Reception will take place at the Dunbar House, right off Main Street.

A finalized itinerary is still in the works. Check back closer to our date to see the full scheduled and details.

** No on-site parking at the venue**

The Dunbar House does not provide on-site parking, and parking in downtown Murphys is limited. Thankfully, there are many places to stay within walking distance to our venue, so we encourage you to find great place nearby!


Sunday, August 10th 

Join us for a Sunday Brunch as we say goodbye and cherish the moments we’ve made!

Hosted at the House on Main directly across the creek from The Dunbar House, this home as plenty of space for us to hang out and say our goodbyes.

Location: The House on Main

Time: 10am — 12pm

Attire: Causal & Comfy.

WEEKEND FAQs

  • The Welcome Party starts at 8pm, but could be earlier based on how long the wedding party rehearsal dinner takes. You’re welcome to check out the space as early as 7 if you’d like. We also recommend grabbing dinner beforehand.

    The party will take place on the lower patio of the Murphys Historic Hotel, you should be able to see/hear it from Main Street. We’ll provide some light bites and cookies thanks to Tim & Lauri Zadina!

  • Garden Party / Semi Formal. Its most likely going to be hot, so wear whats light and comfy for a warm summer afternoon.

  • Our venue is on mostly on grass and pebbles. We encourage you to wear whatever footwear you find agreeable and discourage stiletto heels.

  • Sarah is wearing white of course, and the Bridesmaids are wearing a mix of colors; gold, pink, pink floral, light green and darker green.

    Kyle is wearing a pink suit jacket and brown pants, and his groomsmen are wearing light tan suits and floral ties.

  • There’s No on-site parking at the venue and parking in downtown Murphys is limited.

  • We’ll have vegetarian and vegan options throughout.

    During cocktail hour we’ll have a few appetizers including a grazing board, veggie flautas, and watermelon/feta cups. For dinner we’ll have a Taco Bar with all the fixings including a salsa bar. For dessert we’ll have some churro bites, cake truffles, and fresh made ice cream sandwiches from CREAM.

    If you have any concerns reach out to us ahead of time, or ask Chef Matt and his team during dinner service.

  • We’ll have some water and light beverages out for the ceremony. For cocktail hour until close we’ll have an open bar with a selection of soda, beer, wine, liquor, and specialty cocktails. Special thanks to Keith & Karen March for helping with the drink selection, and Tim & Lauri Zadina for the wine assortment!

  • August tends to be on the warmer side of summer. It could be in the 90s but there's also a good opportunity were it can be more comfortable in the 80s. Rain is rare this time of year, so plan on it being warm. If it's extra hot we plan on having ways to ensure everyone can stay cool and hydrated.

  • Of course! We have so many friends and family members with kiddos that we want them to be part of the festivities. Our hope is to plan fun things for them as well to be as entertained as the rest of us!

  • We totally understand if you're only able to make to one of our planned events. Being this is a destination wedding for most, we wanted to have multiple opportunities to see and connect with everyone. But don't feel obligated to attend them all, we'll be most excited to see you regardless!
